As Seen on Ghost Hunters, here is a modified K-II meter with a power push button for measuring electro-magnetic fileds (EMF). It can be used hands-free. No more holding it down by yourself. No more having to slide a toggle switch or black on off button on the side. This marvelous modification is built into the K-II meter. Manufacturer info - What many of you do not realize is that the standard KII Meter requires constant pressure on the top faceplate with your thumb to keep the meter in the "ON" condition. This is easy at first, but then it can become difficult when your finger gets tired. Once the pressure of your finger starts to ease, "false positives" can & will occur if you are not careful. The other problem is that you can't place the standard meter down on a table unattended. The manufacturer suggests that you stick a coin between the case and the plastic tab as a quick fix. But trust me, that's not the best solution. You'll always be second guessing yourself when the unit goes off..."was it an intermittent switch connection, or did you really pick up something" We started to modify the KII with a On/Off switch as a courtesy for those customers that specifically asked us for it. Now it just makes sense to offer it as a standard item. It takes us a good 30 minutes to modify, test and re-validate each individual meter. So the price is higher than the standard KII unit.
