on a ghost hunt at

 Ft. Mississauga, a national historic site of Canada.

 Located on one of Ontario’s most renowned battlefields, the battle of Ft. George took place during the war of 1812 on the grounds upon which Ft. Mississauga stands today.   

The grounds are also the home of the Niagara-on-the-lake golf club, established in 1875; it is the first golf club in Ontario and oldest existing course in North America.

Built from the ruins of the light house and the bricks of the burnt out town of Newark (present day Niagara-on-the-lake), Ft. Mississauga is home to many spirits that walk its desolate grounds.

 It is rumoured that a headless native and a flogged soldier wander aimlessly about, waiting for the unsuspecting tourist to stumble upon them.  Legend has it that if you stand in a particular spot on the battlefield, you can hear the roar of the cannons  and the sound of battle!

With the kind permission of Parks Canada, we will venture inside the central tower (not usually open to the general public) and explore the earthworks and powder magazines. 

Bring your cameras, emf detectors and ghost hunting equipment to document and witness  the  ghostly footsteps and paranormal images captured on film

                                              that will  haunt you!
